Dark Mode improvements

April 24, 2024

We've shipped several improvements to dark mode so that colours are less vibrant and cause less strain on the eyes.

Login Flow Changes

November 9, 2025

We've improved our login flow for Pulse Pro so that it's more intuitive.

Users are now redirected straight to Stripe after having selected a Pulse plan and logged in with Google. Previously, the redirect to Stripe had to be triggered manually by creating a company. Pulse will now also automatically create your first company which you are redirected back to, from Stripe.

Locations can now have a friendly name

May 2, 2024

Pulse now allows locations to have a Friendly Name. This is different to the location name on Google and helps to distinguish locations on Pulse that perhaps have the same name on Google.

We would still recommend ensuring all of your locations have a unique name in Google.

Pulse can now get all Reviews

May 4, 2024

We've just shipped a change to our review collection code, to ensure Pulse is picking up all reviews, rather than what Google deem as most relevant.

Resource section added

May 6, 2024

We've just added a new Resources section to Pulse. This is where you can view insights, industry news and big Pulse product updates.

New Review Notifications

May 7, 2024

You can now choose to receive an email each time one of your locations receives a new review. Right now the setting is account level, but we may look to bring this down to the location level in the future.

Dashboard V1 has launched

May 13, 2024

We're proud to finally ship the first version of the Pulse dashboard. It may look a little bare bones at the moment but over time, as Pulse collects more data, our plan is to add to it!

Check it out by logging into your Pulse account!

Mobile Fixes

May 14, 2024

We've shipped a handful of fixes for mobile, centred around navigation and the slider on the dashboard.

Pulse Achievements

May 23, 2024

We've just shipped the first version of Pulse Achievements

These can be earned on locations for things such as:

  • Achieving certain review milestones

  • Achieving certain reply milestones

  • Having a verified account

We want to expand on these over time and introduce more creative achievements, such as replying to a review super quick or replying to a review in the middle of the night.

For now, enjoy collecting the existing achievements!

Pulse Achievements 2.0

May 26, 2024

Well it's only been a few days since we initially launched Pulse Achievements, but we've added some more! We've also decided to rename them to Pulse Badges.

  • Night Owl (reply to a review between 2am and 5am)

  • Rapid Response (reply to a review in under 2 hours)

Login with Google added

May 27, 2024

We've updated how you login with Pulse so you must now login with a Google account. When you click the Sign In button, you will be asked to authenticate with Google. Completing these steps will then allow you to successfully login to Pulse.

Signup to our Newsletter

June 2, 2024

You can now signup for the Pulse Newsletter, directly from the notification settings in Pulse. You are free, of course, to unsubscribe at any time.

Competitors for Locations

June 9, 2024

We've just shipped the ability to add competitors to your locations. Pulse will periodically pull in data for them and you can be notified on events such as rating changes and new reviews, for businesses you are in competition with.

Trackers have been added

June 17, 2024

We've just shipped Trackers, which are a handy way of generating a QR code for a given URL. The URL could be to your location on Google or it could be to allow your customers to leave a new review, easier.

Pulse tracks tracker usage and can show how many times a tracker was used and the last time a tracker was used.

Gallery and Pulsebot widget added to Dashboards

July 8, 2024

We've just added a Gallery widget to all Dashboard, which will show images that either you've uploaded as part of the location or a customer has posted in a review they have left.

We've also introduced PulseBot, which is an AI assistant you can use from the dashboard to help answer any queries you have about Google reviews.
